Yes, all SUMN vehicles are round-trip and must be returned to their designated parking spots.

Yes, all SUMN rentals come with secondary insurance coverage. This means that while SUMN provides additional protection, renters are required to have their own primary auto insurance policy. This approach ensures comprehensive coverage during your rental period.
If you don’t have personal auto insurance, you can obtain a non-owner car insurance policy, which provides liability coverage for drivers who don’t own a vehicle. SUMN offers an insurance rebate program for qualifying renters who secure non-owner insurance specifically to use our services. First, ensure everyone’s safety and contact emergency services if necessary. Once it’s safe, report the incident through the SUMN app and notify our support team at support@sumn.io. We’ll guide you through the next steps and assist with any necessary documentation.
Helmets are not provided with e-bike rentals. For your safety, we strongly recommend bringing and wearing your own helmet while riding.
For EVs, please plug the vehicle into the designated charger upon return. E-bikes should be docked properly to ensure they charge for the next user.

At SUMN, we aim to make charging as convenient as possible for our users. For standard, local trips, charging is typically included in your rental. However, for extended journeys such as long road trips or multi-day rentals, we cover the cost of the first Supercharge session. Any additional Supercharging fees incurred during your trip will be billed to your account. We recommend planning your charging stops accordingly to manage any extra costs.
